BNC connectors are a common connector for RF and video transmission, being used in applications including amateur radio, test equipment, and avionics. They are also frequently used for carrying analog and SDI video signals. BNC connectors use a bayonet mount locking system to maintain a secure connection. The male connector is usually attached to the cable and the female connector is typically mounted to a patch panel or piece of equipment. Most of these connectors employ a crimp type termination style, although we do offer a few with compression, solder, crimp, and even twist-on designs. BNC connectors are available for both 50 ohm and 75 ohm coaxial cables.
