RCA is an analog standard that can be used to transfer both audio and composite video. The connectors are color coded for easy installation. Yellow connectors transmit component video, red carries right channel audio, and white or black carries the left channel audio. We carry both mono and stereo cables in lengths ranging from 3 to 100 feet. RCA connectors are also referred to as A/V jacks and phono and cinch connectors. These assemblies feature molded connector housings to provide strain-relief and prevent wear on the cables over time.
Although not nearly as ubiquitous as they once were, RCA audio and video cables are still in use with vintage and specialty equipment such as VCRs, Televisions, gaming systems, and stereos. Digital standards have replaced RCA in most newer devices, with 3.5mm being used in place of RCA audio and HDMI being the current standard for digital audio and video. read more..read less..
